There’s a change of guard at this Ticino dining institution where young couple Eloa Geiser and Yanick Walker have taken over the running of both the kitchen and front of house service. Eloa, the charming female half of the partnership, is also a qualified sommelier and takes very good care of her guests, while Yanick, adds his classic-French culinary stamp without neglecting his Valois roots, although he is not averse to adding some Mediterranean flair to his cuisine. In addition to its usual menu, on Tuesdays guests can order the “Adriana” veal liver, and on Saturdays the special braised beef with Merlot. The gracious building housing the restaurant with its beautiful views remains unchanged, as do the comfortable guestrooms.
