In this “company village” (now a UNESCO World Heritage site) with its textile factory, workers’ houses and castle belonging to the Crespi cotton manufacturers, an attractive farmhouse has been converted into an elegant restaurant. You’re greeted by tempting displays of cured hams and cheeses on Mualdo’s bar as soon as you enter the restaurant, but the delicacies don’t stop here. The menu features meat and fish dishes which are contemporary yet unfussy and full of flavour. So much more than a farmhouse!
