After renovation, the Rector's Palace became an ultramodern multidisciplinary cultural complex (atrium, auditorium, multimedia areas, bookshop, educational and artistic expression workshops) and a first-rate centre for temporary exhibitions (renowned modern and avant-garde artists, photographers, etc.). Together with the Providur's Palace, the " Two Palaces museum" is set to become an exceptional museum centre, bringing together the ethnography, natural history and painting collections that were previously scattered around various locations.
