Re-creating a turn-of-the-century pioneer village, the museum's nine buildings-reproductions and historic structures moved to the site-include shops, a schoolhouse, a doctor's office, a stable and carriage house, and the "Castle." On its original site, the latter is the lodgepole pine home built by Guy Waring, a Bostonian who founded the town in the 1890s and operated an outfitters store for miners in the area.
