Painter and sculptor Luis Alberto Acuña (1904-94), one of Colombia's first muralists, was clearly influenced by the works of Picasso and pre-Columbian art. Installed in a fine mansion, worthy of a visit in its own right, the museum dedicated to Acuña showcases almost 250 of his works, as well as fossils and pre-Columbian ceramics unearthed by the artist and his friends.
