This shaded walk, lined by the pleasant public gardens which host the Biennale, offers fine views of the lagoon and the Bacino di San Marco. Pieces of sculpture are dotted here and there in the gardens, including busts of former mayor Riccardo Selvatico (founder of the Biennale), and composers Richard Wagner and Giuseppe Verdi.
