This monumental church was built in the 18C at the request of the 10th Marquis of Vélez and features a richly decorated Baroque stone portal. Inside, a beautiful representation of St Anthony of Padua, a work by the Murcia sculptor Francisco Salzillo (1707-1783), a master of the Baroque style, is the dominate feature of the altarpiece in the Capilla de la Encarnación.
