The Museum of Toulouse reopned its doors in 2008 after ten years of renovations. Located in the Jardin des Plantes south of the Allées Jules-Guesde that define the limits of the old town, it contains a large collection of natural history objects, particularly in ornithology, prehistory and ethnography, with a total of 2.5 million pieces.
