Bata Shoe Museum
O Guide Vert
Opinião do Guia Michelin
Housed in a five-storey edifice designed by renowned architect Raymond Moriyama to resemble a shoebox, this unique museum draws on its 10,000-piece collection to take the visitor on a journey through time and around the world illustrating the history of shoemaking and footwear. Shoes in the permanent exhibit range from 3,550-year-old Theban funerary slippers and 1,500-year-old Anasazi sandals to Mahatma Gandhi's leather chappals, singer Elton John's platform shoes and Queen Victoria's ballroom slippers.
