It would be easy to get lost in this train station out of which endless streams of people pour onto Shibuya junction. The staggering sight is calmly surveyed by Hachiko, a dog whose statue was erected in tribute to his loyalty. The dog used to wait for his master here every day, continuing to do so long after his master had died. Shibuya is another of Tokyo's shopping districts awash with neon lights and giant screens. It is particularly popular with teenagers hungry for the latest trends, who are also regular patrons of the Bunkamura movie hall complex.
