The permanent exhibition showcases a fine collection of Sicilian carts, mainly from Palermo and Trapani. The museum's pride and joy, though, is the rich ornithological collection: 10 000 specimens, including endangered and very rare species. In the archaeology section relics found in the sea wrecks along the Terrasini coast are displayed.
