The appeal of this chateau, surrounded by moats, lies not only in its rich architectural exterior, but also in the quality of its interior decoration and furnished apartments. Built around 1550, it is a fine example of Burgundy Renaissance. Eleven generations of the same family have lived here since 1704 and it is the venue of contemporary art exhibitions every summer.
