The collections of this eclectic museum are housed in different sections. The archaeological section presents exhibits from the Neolithic to Kuruc periods discovered in excavations in the Carpathian basin, while the ethnographical section boasts more than 13 000 exhibits. The Fine Arts section includes modern and contemporary works, with not just sculptures and paintings on display but also books and design objects. Also of interest are the section dedicated to the town's history, the library and the museum's temporary exhibitions.
