One of the galleries shines a light on the relationships between the Aborigines and water; another, the Navigators Gallery, charts the "discovery" of Australia and its cartography by the Dutch, British and French. Lastly, the Passengers section recounts the crossings of numerous migrants who have made their way to Australia throughout history. Several ships are anchored outside the building, including a replica of the Endeavour.
