This villa built in 1818 by Emmanuel Jobez, a master smithy and fan of Italian architecture, is something of an anomaly in the Jura landscape. Its square plan, underscored by Ionic pilasters, colourful rendering, a central rotunda and Pompei-inspired decoration are all reminiscent of Italian villas. Entirely furnished and carpeted in a period style, the interior, now the venue for concerts, is fully equal to the exterior. The terrace opens onto an unspoiled landscape.
