The Master of the Nets Garden is a great demonstration of that Chinese virtuosity for recreating nature in miniature. After the superb sculpted doorway comes the central courtyard, which is almost entirely dominated by a pool. A narrow path snakes around, between the bank, rock garden and greenery. The Moon Comes with the Breeze Pavilion was the perfect spot to take in the reflection of the moon while enjoying the cool nocturnal winds.
