Four warehouses located on the port of Sundsvall and dating from the early 20C have been connected by glass-paned galleries, which straddle several streets. The cultural centre encompasses the Sundsvall Museum (local history, artisanat, art etc), the municipal library, the archives of Medelpad province (a research centre with a focus on the history of families from the region), the children's cultural centre and Café Skonerten.
