This large brick building on Ovobozdenie Square houses rich collections, notably from the Thracian, Roman and medieval periods. These are the result of excavations at Madara, Pliska and Veliki Preslav. Note the Thracian tomb, gold hoard and archaeological material from Madara and the old capitals.
