Opinião do Guia Michelin
Charles Pinckney (1757-1824) is one of four Charlestonians who went to Philadelphia in May 1787 to help draft the new Constitution of the United States. Vestiges of his country estate, Snee Farm, are now preserved at the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site. The visitor center here contains exhibits detailing the plantation's history and Pinckney's political career, which included three terms as South Carolina governor, one term in the US Senate, and a four-year stint as ambassador to Spain under President Thomas Jefferson.
