This former summer residence of the court of Württemberg was built between 1763 and 1769 by Frenchman La Guépière. The interior is either neo-Classical (central rotunda room) or French Rococo in style. One of the curiosities of this castle is the desk of King Frederick I of Württemberg, greatly widened because of the obesity of its owner.
