This private noble residence, built for the shipowner Lohobiague (1643-1645), has always belonged to the same family. Inside, the old-Basque style is reflected particularly in the straight-flight staircase, the robust work of a ship's carpenter. From the second-floor landing, an interior walkway leads to the apartments, where Lohobiague's widow received Louis XIV in 1660.
