The Wine Museum is located in the castle outhouses. Unusually laid out, the museum is set in three sites: the chateau stages temporary exhibitions related to wine; outdoors, also part of the museum, a 6km-wine trail with explanatory panels leads to the museum's third site at Salgesch, Zumofen house, where the museum's permanent holdings devoted to wine growing in Valais are displayed.
