Devoted to showcasing the regional heritage, the museum of art and history hosts temporary exhibitions and a permanent display which describes the Northern Shore and the successive waves of settlers. Rich in artefacts from archaeological digs carried out on the Northern Shore and from the First Nations, it houses a fine collection of photographs and also exhibits work by Canadian and foreign artists.
