The north coast of Milos presents some unique scenery. East of Plaka lies a beautiful natural landscape: gleaming white volcanic tufa eroded by the sea into cones, domes and terraces. Its gentle contours are lapped at by turquoise waters. Swimming is feasible when the weather is calm (in high winds, you risk being washed against the rocks).
