The track that runs along the southern banks of Lago Curruhué Chico and Lago Curruhué Grande crosses a lovely ancient araucaria forest, swings around the superb Lago Verde and spans the Escorial, a vast petrified lava flow. The track leads as far as Lago Epulafquen, close to which the natural thermal springs of Lahuen Co. are to be found.
