Elevated to the rank of natural monument, this nature reserve with its lush vegetation is the setting for three pools (also natural) of more or less warm water, fed by a waterfall. It's a feast for the eyes and the body. Even in the rain, which happens quite often in the Azores, you can enjoy these relaxing baths. A small interpretation centre will tell you more about the vegetation and geology of the area.
