Hidden from sight by buildings, the Venetian port appears suddenly as you come around a building. Reflecting the charming pastel façades of the houses that surround it, its calm waters serve as a shelter for a handful of brightly coloured fishing boats. Nonetheless, it would be preferable if it were a bit less busy and with fewer restaurants with their tables sprawling out onto the breadth of the quayside.
