This two-storey neo-Classical-style house now looks as it would have done during the time of Charles Parnell, the Nationalist leader who used it for public occasions. The dining room has been decorated in Coade stone, while a video presentation tells the story of Parnell and his role in 19C Irish politics. The Forest Park covers a steep slope, which faces east towards the opposite bank of the River Avonmore.
