The Château de Rambouillet is surrounded by a delightful park carpeted with daffodils in springtime and renowned for the variety of its gardens, mainly the result of landscaping projects in the 17C and 18C. The evolution in tastes of the time is represented in the gardens, with their classic flowerbeds and winding paths lined with exotic trees, themselves concealing small cottages.
