This windswept and ocean-battered headland was inhabited many years ago. The stunning site is home to interesting vestiges: a former abbey, a lighthouse, a museum, a beacon occupied by the army, a monument to those lost at sea and a cenotaph devoted to those who died at sea during combat. The view is best from the top of the lighthouse.
