Opposite the Restaurant des Grottes, a Belle Époque-style villa, the Dard River reappears, forming magnificent waterfalls after periods of rain or when the snow melts. "Tufas" are rocks formed by limestone deposits that cover and petrify the vegetation; here the water flows into a series of basins.
