In this vast protected area, exceptional mosaics, for the most part created in the mid-4C, were discovered. They decorated the ground of opulent houses, including the governor's palace. The House of Dionysos boasts the finest collection: 22 rooms are laid out around an atrium, their floors decorated with gleaming mosaic panels, including a rich procession of Dionysos. As you walk around the site, you will also come upon the vestiges of an ancient theatre.
