Situated high above the river beside Alexandra Bridge, this point offers views of Parliament Hill, Gatineau and the Gatineau Hills across the river. Overlooking the river facing west is a statue of Samuel de Champlain, who paddled up the Ottawa River in 1613 and 1615.
