This street is home to two superb 18C Baroque palaces. The first, the Cilla del Cabildo, is by Alonso Ruiz Florindo who designed the belfry of the Iglesia de la Merced. The two buildings have individual pilasters with a partitioned decor. There is a strange copy of the Giralda above the door. The second, the Palacio Marquéz de la Gomera, has a cornice embellished with volutes and waves, as well as a fine stone doorway crowned with a large coat-of-arms.
