The highest point of the northern Jura, Le Chasseral (1 607m) offers fine views. Alongside the Hotel Chasseral, the culminating point of the trail, an orientation table permits identification of the Berne Alps, Valais Alps and Mont Blanc. This impressive landscape runs for around 250km. A gentle ridge path heads to the communications mast, next to a telecoms station from where the all-encompassing view takes in the Swiss Alps, Jura, Vosges and Black Forest.
