The not-to-be-missed open-air folk museum is located at the entrance to Newtonmore. Reconstituted farmhouses allow visitors to discover building expertise and technical know-how present in the Highlands from the 18C to the first half of the 20C. Daily life is vividly portrayed by means of a school, a church and workshops animated by real craftspeople.
