The former main shopping street for New Orleans' residential districts, running from Canal Street to Audubon Park, Magazine Street has undergone a successful transformation and is now lined by a pleasant mix of cafés, informal restaurants, fashion boutiques, art and craft galleries, as well as a whole host of shops specialising in antiques and second-hand goods.
