Hallyeohaesang National Marine Park stretches between land and sea, from the area around Busan to the east and up to Yeosu in the west. One visits it by taking the coastal roads of the large islands, or by boat, on excursions that take you to the 400 islands of various sizes, leaving from Namhae, Geoje, Yeosu and especially Tongyeong. From this latter port, for example, take the time to go and see the rock formations of Deungdaeseom or Yeonhwa-do, a paradise for hikers.
