The VDNKh, or the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy, is a grandiose construction. The main entrance, a triumphal arch, opens onto a wide drive dotted with fountains, off which lead pavilions to the glory of each former Soviet republic. After a troubled past, the site is currently in the throes of massive restoration projects which are expected to restore its former glory by the end of 2018.
