This massive 13C fortress houses five museums: the Vaudoise Gendarmerie Museum (history of this profession with uniforms): the Swiss Museum of Figurines (dioramas of major historical events depicted by lead soldiers); the Vaudois Military History Museum (retrospective of the period from Napoleon to the present day), the Paderewski Museum (Polish pianist and statesman) and the Artillery Museum (40 authentic exhibits, plus some miniatures).
