Standing in the vast Mitchell Park, these three huge greenhouses, each with a dome, are a treat to visit at any time of year. Built in the 1960s, they cover an area of 4 000m2 and are six storeys high; they are the only conodial or beehive shaped glass houses in the world. There is the Desert Dome, the Tropical Dome and the Floral Show Dome, with exhibitions changing with the seasons.
