The Mercado Municipal Lucas de Gálvez, south of the Zócalo, contains many treasures on the first floor. Devoted to Yucatán crafts, for which Mérida is a showcase, it features a wide range of local products, from hammocks and clothing (huipiles and guayaberas) to Campeche hats (Panamas).
