This castle from the end of the 13C and altered in the 17C is made up of a series of surrounding walls dominated by a square keep. Following the surrounding path there are attractive views over the all-white village and at the top of the keep you will find impressiveviews over the various surrounding walls. The panoramic view takes in the Spanish sierras, the region of Castel Branco, the Serra da Estrela and the Serra de São Mamede.
