Bighorn Lake, a 60mi-long reservoir created by Montana's 525ft-high Yellowtail Dam, is wedged between 2,200ft cliffs. It entices boaters and fishermen. Flanking the national recreation area on its west is the expansive Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range. Between 100 and 200 wild horses roam freely in bands.
