In Folegandros, getting to the beaches requires some effort. But for those who choose Katergo Beach, on the eastern coast, what a reward! After around an hour's walk starting at Camping Livadi, one of the loveliest beaches on the island, its sand lapped at by crystal-clear waters. The less energetic can get to this little corner of paradise by taking a boat at the island's port or approaching by car, via the hamlet of Livadi.
