Located at the foot of Mount St Odile, Ottrott is famous for its "Ottrott red wine", which is fruity and pleasantly full-bodied. The village is also proud of its two castles: the 12C Château de Lutzelbourg, with its square building and round tower, and the 13C Château de Rathsamhausen, which is bigger and more ornate.
