Most buildings surrounding the campus quadrangle are limestone. A standout is the Geological Museum, notable for a full-size copper tyrannosaur outside and a full apatosaur skeleton inside. Exhibits range from jade and uranium to core samples from oil drilling. The University of Wyoming Art Museum focuses on Western art, including works by Catlin, Remington and Moran; it shares Antoine Predock's futuristic Centennial Complex with the American Heritage Center, an archival research facility with special interest in industry and environment.
