The palace consists of two main blocks linked by two narrow wings: the German section on the Old Town side (18C furniture and decoration) and the Italian Renaissance section (16C), looking out onto the courtyard (painted coffered ceilings). On the first floor, a small museum provides information on working the land in Landshut and local archaeological excavations (in German only; no admission fee).
