The visit begins in splendid landscaped grounds, famous for their rhododendrons, azaleas and hydrangeas. The interior of Muckross House, a stately Victorian manor, will take you back to the 19C. Finally, Muckross Farms on the estate recreate a sort of open-air eco-museum, where authentic rural habitats have been recreated in a dozen or so farmhouses. In addition to farm animals, you will see agricultural tools and activities.
