With its immense silvery sand beach and dunes, Silver Strand is one of the country's loveliest beaches. You get here via a pretty road that crosses the village of Killeen and the remarkable Bunlahinch Bridge: built out of enormous stone slabs, it enabled pedestrians to cross the river.
